1. Miraculous Eucharist that remains in Its original shape even in flames exceeding 1,200 degrees

The Eucharist that descended when the Pope's Nuncio visited on November 24, 1994; the Eucharist that descended while the little soul and the volunteers were doing the Liturgy of the Word on January 6, 2002; His Precious Blood flowed out from Them.

These two hosts were placed in the pyx and enshrined in the tabernacle next to the Blessed Mother in the Chapel. During the fire at the old Chapel, the volunteers thought that the Eucharist would have been burnt down as it was in the center of the flame of over 1,200 degrees, but miraculously the shape remained intact and is enshrined in the monstrance to preserve it.

2. St. Andrew Kim Tae-gon’s Relic

The Relic of St. Andrew Kim Tae-gon who is the first Korean priest and martyr, is enshrined on the right side of the Blessed Mother's statue. On May 22, 1986, during the unveiling ceremony of the statue of St. Andrew Kim Tae-gon in Lolomboi in the Philippines, St. Andrew Kim Tae-gon appeared to the little soul, and gave her a blessing. The hot energy transmitted through his hand soon spread to every corner of the little soul's body. In this way, St. Kim Tae-gon appeared to the little soul and revealed his special friendship with her.

3. Jesus’ garment, which turned into powder from Heaven soaked in His Precious Blood

What is enshrined in this monstrance is fine cotton cloth from 2,000 years ago, stained with the Lord's Holy Blood, which Jesus personally placed in the little soul's hands.

This is the powder of His garment made of cotton, which has been soaked in His Blood and torn apart again and again during scourging because of the sins of numerous children. These pieces of the cotton garment have been cut apart with sharp scissors of the greed and selfishness with which people only want to receive without giving to others for their own satisfaction instead of loving others as themselves and also with the scissors of cold-hearted betrayals.

Altar in the Chapel

The letters Alpha (A) and Omega (Ω) which are the patterns of the Eucharist that came down when the Apostolic Nuncio visited the Chapel on November 24, 1994, were engraved on the Mass altar, and they are also engraved on both sides of the pews.

Between the letters of (A) and (Ω), an image of the Eucharist that miraculously came down in the Chapel on August 27, 1997 with the pattern of the bleeding Sacred Heart stabbed by the Crown of Thorn is engraved.

Our Lord’s Precious Blood, Relics of three Saints: St. Andrew Kim Tae-gon’s Relic, St. John the Baptist and St. Maria Goretti are enshrined in the small square boxed space inside the upper part of the altar.

The Holy Image of Jesus of Mercy in Glory

Thus far, Our Lord Jesus has appeared to the little soul five times as Divine Mercy Jesus; twice in the chapel, twice at the Blessed Mother’s Mountain, and once in her residence. She saw Jesus has an extremely merciful and benevolent look beyond description. She then felt a strong desire to paint Him exactly as He appeared to her.

Back then, the little soul tried to paint the Divine Mercy Jesus, Who first appeared in the Chapel on December 8, 1997. Yet, she could not achieve her wish as it was an artwork beyond her field, so she gave up at the end.

On February 2, 2021, the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, while she was praying, the image of Jesus of Mercy kept appearing in her mind. She was thinking to herself “Ah, this must be the will of Jesus to reproduce the image of Jesus of Mercy as merciful as He is.” So, she began painting Jesus of Mercy Who appeared to her at the Blessed Mother’s Mountain, using her computer.

She had to paint thousands of times just in order to draw the Light of Mercy alone.

The colors of red rays of light flowing forth from the Sacred Heart were extracted from the numerous pictures of the Precious Blood that was shed miraculously from the Holy Eucharist and the Precious Blood that descended on the Blessed Mother’s Mountain, inside the Chapel, and inside her residence, and from the pictures of the Blessed Mother’s Tears of Blood.

With those colors she has extracted, she started to draw and paint the red rays of light stroke-by-stroke on the computer. The colors of white rays of light from His Sacred Heart were extracted from pictures taken from the Holy Eucharist that descended from Heaven, from the background to the bottom and cloud, even every stroke used was extracted from the numerous pictures of the various miraculous signs from Naju. After extracting every color, she drew the whole scene and painted with them.

As the little soul has seen, the light of the Sacred Heart of Jesus was golden. She extracted those colors from the pictures of the golden Fragrant Oil that were exuded from the statue of the Blessed Mother by squeezing Her whole body, and the golden Fragrant Oil from Baby Jesus.

She painted the golden-colors on the image, but she was astonished to see blood-colored lights that suddenly appeared and were painted together over the Sacred Heart Image. The little soul wanted to express the light of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in a more realistic way, but Jesus Himself granted the bloodied-colored hues. So she did not retouch them.

And the more the devil tormented her, the little soul thought, “Oh, how great that grace must be! The devil of division is now making me unbearable invisibly through people.” Taking it as her fault, she went to confession, offered up her night's sleep, and continued her work.

After countless of hours of dedication and suffering, she did her best to depict the Holy Face of Jesus exactly as she had seen, she completed the Holy Image over several months. Later, she found out that the performance of her computer was 4 times slower than a normal one.

Our Lord was so pleased with this Holy image, which the little soul completed through sacrificial prayers and entreaty filled love even amidst all her excruciating and dreadful sufferings with few sleep and non-rest for such pains. He said that He will be called by all as “Jesus of Mercy in Glory.”

So, Jesus made the promise of bestowing grace to all the people who would pray in front of the Holy Image of Jesus of Mercy in Glory by keeping It in the center of their families and practice the Five Spiritualities.

“My beloved daughter, My little soul!

As the sins of the world committed against God have reached the extremities, the world is now on the brink of destruction. In order to make reparation for those sins that are violating the infinite dignity of God, offer the Prayer at 3:00 which My Mother Mary has taught you. Even if you fail to pray at the exact time, do not worry about it but offer the prayer not only at 3:00 but often.

If all the children in the world practice the Five Spiritualities and offer this Prayer by keeping the Holy Image of My Mercy in Glory at the center of each family, the Cup of Blessing will descend instead of the cup of wrath and they will be saved and brought up to Heaven, escorted by angels on the last day and enjoy eternal bliss.” (Message of Love from Jesus on July 9, 2021)

The Holy Image of the Crucifix on Mt. Calvary

On January 1, 2002, the Precious Blood formed on the toe of His Crucifix on Mt. Calvary penetrated the face mask that the little soul was wearing, changed into the Eucharist and descended on her tongue. It was very cold and windy day, but the Eucharist stood vertically on the tongue and did not fall off even though It was just stuck on it very lightly.

Also, through Jesus on the Cross of Mt. Calvary, Our Lord's Precious Blood, His tears, His body fluid, golden Fragrant Oil, and Streams of Water of Mercy and so on... many Signs of love were granted.

October 19, 2006, the Precious Blood flowed out of His feet and flowed down unto the little soul's elbow. So volunteers were getting the drops of His Precious Blood with the bottle of holy water. The image of the rainbow, a sign of love and salvation that Jesus gave to the little soul's residence, was added to the Holy Image of Crucifix at Mt. Calvary, and was completed.

“My most beloved children! In these end times, I called you to be My apostles and placed you in the refuge of the Mary's Ark of Salvation which I prepared for you, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings. Keep this in mind and do not look back or get off the Ark. I clearly tell you that, in this age of purification, I love not only your soul but also your body and walk with you holding your hands on the perilous road. Dome Statue of the Blessed Mother of Naju

The 12 stars inside the dome represent the laurel crown of the 12 stars which the Blessed Mother wears, and the background of the dome represents the whole view of the Mountain of the Blessed Mother. The Ark in the dome is Mary's

Ark of Salvation that the little soul saw in her vision when she received the Message from the Blessed Mother on September 24, 1994.Many miracles took place through the large statue in the present dome, which used to be enshrined in the front yard of the previous Chapel.

On July 1, 1995, seven Eucharist descended to the old Chapel of the Blessed Mother in Naju, and on July 2, seven people received the Eucharist. And at dawn on July 3, 1995, the Blessed Mother shed Tears in the courtyard of the Chapel.

Jesus’ Bench

If you look to the left of the statue of the Blessed Mother outside the Chapel, there is a bench, which is very significant. This bench, named “The Bench of Jesus” takes its origin from the time when Jesus appeared as a crippled beggar to the little soul around 3 p.m. on June 15, 1990.

And he stayed at the Chapel for 15 days under the care of the little soul. He shared many pleasant times through His love, with her on this bench during His stay at the Blessed Mother’s House. It is the very place where He used to sit.

1. The Beginning of Tears, JEONG Beauty Parlor

(1) Fundraising for the beauty parlor

In August 1980, not long after Julia was healed of terminal cancer, her mother-in-law came before breakfast and said again, “Pay off my debts.” Having been healed and healthy again, Julia confidently replied, “Yes!” Then, thinking about what she could do, she decided that running a beauty parlor would be the best way to pay off her mother-in-law’s debts. She asked her aunt for help, and her aunt said she could lend her a maximum of 1,600,000 won.

With the money, she couldn’t open the beauty parlor. So, she went straight to the Naju parish priest and said, “Father, I want to open a beauty parlor Could I borrow money from the Credit Union Bank established by the parishioners of Naju parish?” The priest introduced her to the executive director of the Credit Union. The executive director said he would lend her 3 million won without requiring a guarantor. After looking for a beauty parlor to purchase, she found one for 4 million won. The executive director agreed to lend her 3 million won without any guarantor.

She couldn’t bring herself to say to her husband that she had to pay off her mother-in-law's debt, so she told him "Since we have four children, I want to open a beauty parlor to help out, even just a little." Then he said, "No, what do you mean by that? Did I hear correctly that you’re opening a beauty parlor?" "Yes, you heard correctly," she said. Her husband disagreed, saying, "Honey, you can just lie down and rest. God just saved your life—what if something goes wrong?"

However, Julia said, “No, I have the strength to do anything. Please let me, please?” Her husband opposed her until the end, but she had a steadfast belief that, "As long as the Lord has saved me, nothing is impossible." So, she met with real estate broker and the beauty parlor owner at a restaurant, wrote the contract, and while having a meal, called her husband to stamp the contract.

When they returned home, her husband continued to expressing his concern and asked, "If you really want to do this, I can't stop you. But please, don’t even think about doing the customers' hair. Hire a hairstylist and let them take care of it, please."

(2) Opening of JEONG Beauty Parlor.

Julia, feeling rushed, decided to open the beauty parlor the next day and visited a beauty supply store in Gwangju (which sold beauty products and also arranged hairstylists), asking them to find her a first-class hairstylist. The owner, surprised and mocking, said, "Tomorrow? My goodness, someone who plans to open a beauty parlor tomorrow is looking for a first-class hairstylist today? How precious top-tier hairstylists are..."

But Julia waited for the first-class hairstylist to come in. The owner said, “It's no different from waiting for stars to fall from the sky or for ripe persimmons to fall from a tree. "I’ll contact you when a top-tier hairstylist shows up. You can either postpone the opening, or if you must go ahead, take a regular hairstylist with you."

Julia said, "Lord, I trust that You will send a first-class hairstylist." As soon as she prayed, a young woman walked in and asked, "Are you looking for a top-tier hairstylist?" Julia said, "Oh! Lord, You truly answered my prayer. Thank You," and went ahead with the opening as planned.

(3) Became a Beauty technician

Before, the hair straightener over a briquette fire had been used to style hair. However, at the time hairdryer was used. Since Julia had never used a hairdryer before, she asked the hairstylist, “Can you teach me how to blow-dry?” who would learn it through somebody's teaching? At that moment, briefly she offered it up with Semchigo as if she were loved by her. And thought to herself, “It must be a signal of love from the Lord for me to learn quickly. Yes, that is correct; this hairstylist is not the type of person who would say things that others might find too daring to speak. Lord, I see. I understand Your intention well, so I will proceed accordingly,” Just then, she saw a cosmetics saleswoman passing by on the street.

Julia quickly called out to her and seated her in the chair, offering to do her hair. At first, she was reluctant, but eventually said, “Well, go ahead and give it a try then.” As I held a commercial hairdryer for the first time, it felt both heavy and difficult, “Lord, please be with me personally.” Julia began to blow-dry her hair, praying more ardently. she was utterly surprised expression crossed her face, “Huh?” Julia was also so startled “Oh, Lord!” Earnestly calling out to the Lord was all she could do.

Julia looked at her with wide, startled eyes, thinking she was screaming about her ruined hairstyle. But she said, “I have wanted this hairstyle for a long time and have visited numerous hair salons but it was impossible to achieve it. So, I went to Chungjangno, known as the best in Gwangju. But there was not a single place that could do a hairstyle that I really liked. Now I do not have to worry about my hair anymore.” and handed her 5,000 Won!

Tears of heartfelt emotion welled up in Julia's eyes and rolled down her face. “No, you do not have to give me money. It was my first time doing a blow-dry. If anything, I should give you a modeling fee since I was practicing.” Politely Julia returned the money. She had bought Julia bread, snacks and fruits, which cost more than the hair fee itself. At that time, the dry fee was 1,000 Won. She said, “I finally have a hairstyle I like for the first time, even if it costs a lot, I do not think it is a waste at all. I had given up on getting a blow-dry. no one has ever satisfied me to the point.” “Ah! There is truly nothing impossible with our Lord.” Julia offered endless thanks, praise, glory, and adoration to the Lord.

(4) Merge the beauty parlor and the home into one.

Julia commuted daily to the beauty parlor from her home. Her husband would drop by on his way back from work, waiting in the room to accompany her, but when the room was occupied due to numerous customers, he would leave first. As she left late, men would follow her, causing her frequent distress. Around that time, they received a proposal to construct a bigger house a little further down and integrate the beauty parlor with their residence. Consequently, on April 8, 1982, they combined the two.

(5) The beginning of the Blessed Mother's tears.

From June 29 to 30, 1985, Julia, accompanied by a group of members from the Gwangju Archiocese Charismatic Renewal Movement, visited Kkottongnae to care for the poor and needy, and arrived home around 11:10 p.m. on June 30. Around 11:55 p.m., while praying the rosary for the conversion of sinners and the poor, Julia found droplets of water on the cheek of the statue of the Blessed Mother in her room.

Since Julia frequently used holy water, she wondered, "Could it be holy water?" After sprinkling the holy water, she woke up around 6 a.m. and found that the holy water had all dried up, and tears were flowing from both of Her eyes. From that day, the Blessed Mother's tears began.

Julia said, “Mother! I do not have a room to enshrine You. Should I bring You to the church, or would You rather stay at home? Please tell me.” “Do not worry. You have done well in enduring.” “Is it the church, or is it home?” “I like you. I like you. Do not worry. I will help you with everything.” Julia cried out.

“Mother, why did You not choose a more suitable, capable, and with more rooms? Mother, am I not being a hindrance to You? Nonetheless, I will do my best to bear witness to You.”

The news that the statue of the Blessed Mother, which Julia enshrined, was weeping spread quickly, and every day, 3,000 to 4,000 visitors and pilgrims came to see it. Some pilgrims even prayed overnight, and in the cramped living quarters, the four children who attended school had no place to study, let alone a proper place to sleep, so they had to sleep on the narrow sofa in the beauty parlor. Despite this, the children, including the 5-year-old youngest, never complained and fervently prayed for the pilgrims.

It was impossible to run the beauty parlor while welcoming the countless pilgrims who came every day into the cramped house. Back then, the price of a house on the outskirts of Naju was 700,000 to 1,000,000 won, but when she closed the beauty parlor, which had customers waiting 3 to 4 hours for their haircuts, the monthly net profit was 3 to 4 million won. Julia decisively closed her beauty parlor, pledging, “I will dedicate myself only to the Blessed Mother of Naju,” and began looking for a house, but there was no proper one.

Julia had to manage the beauty parlor, volunteer, and welcome pilgrims, so while she went to look for land, she offered it up all with prayers of life and busily ran around. Since her husband worked, Julia went alone to look for land. Julia, who looked as young as a 19-year-old girl, was running around, and people said she was crazy. However, Julia was happy with Semchigo as if she were being loved. On August 8th, Julia had no choice but to decide to purchase the Sugang apartment.

2. Enshrining the statue of the Blessed Mother to the Su-gang apartment.

(1) Purchase of Su-gang Apartment, Unit 302.

The apartment was more expensive than the market value at the time. But the owner said that they would offer her without charge the air-conditioner, clay-jars, furniture and many potted plants. However, when she went to the apartment, all that was left was trash. Yet, Julia prayed for him. The Protestant neighbor from the house in front, who had introduced the apartment, apologized and said, "It would be understandable if you cursed, but what a great faith you have to pray and offer Mass for them! indeed...."

Julia thought, “What I have to do now is just to think positively with Semchigo as if I agreed to buy this apartment at a little higher price. Jesus said we should even love our enemies. They are not my enemies; They took away all the things that they had promised to give me because they just succumbed to their earthly desire. But all those things originally belonged to them, not to me anyway?” At that moment, Jesus spoke.

“Yes, My little baby! This place will be a bathhouse to wash clean people’s souls where many will be healed through the grace of repentance. It will also be My Mother’s house where the love and graces from the combined Holy Hearts of My Mother and Me will be overflowing.”

(2) Moving to Su-gang Apartment, Unit 302.

On August 12, 1986, Julia moved to Sugan Apartment, Unit 302, and enshrined the statue of the Blessed Mother Who was shedding Tears in the master bedroom. For the first time, Julia had a room that the couple could use. However, from the very first day, she dedicated their rightful conjugal relationship for the sanctification of clergy and for those who committed the sin of abortion.

(3) Naju Parish, a short trip out

1. Enshrined the statue of the Blessed Mother to Naju Parish.

On November 5, 1986, at around 9:30 AM, Father Park Hee-dong John said that the priest of the Gwangju Archdiocese suggested to pray with the statue of the Blessed Mother. And when they opened the Bible, Luke 1:56 came up: “Mary stayed with Elizabeth for about three months and then went back to Her home.” Just as the passage said, they brought the statue to Naju Parish and prayed for three months. Before Her leaving, when Julia held the statue of the Blessed Mother's hand to wish Her well, it felt warm and even became hot. Even her family and many of the pilgrims could feel it too. Before departing, the Blessed Mother’s statue had wept so much that Her left eye swelled up and shrank, and an astonishing phenomenon occurred where Her mouth and nose became crooked.

2. Set up a prayer room for the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

The statue of the Blessed Mother was enshrined in the priests' residence at Naju Parish. The Blessed Mother of Naju showed Julia a vision to set up a Eucharistic Adoration room at Naju Parish so that people could pray. So, Julia prayed for the Superior Sister of the Parish to follow the Blessed Mother’s instructions, and her prayer was answered. At Naju Parish, the Blessed Sacrament was enshrined next to the statue of the Blessed Mother. The Blessed Mother of Naju stayed at Naju Parish for three months, encouraging the faithful to engage in Eucharistic Adoration, but She did shed tears at Naju Parish, even though She had been weeping every day.

3. The Tears started flowing again at the Su-gang Apartment.

On February 2, 1987, the Blessed Mother, who had gone out to Naju Parish at the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, returned to the Su-gang Apartment and began shedding tears again starting on February 21.

3. To the Blessed Mother's chapel.

1. The process of building the chapel.

a. The acquisition of the land.

To establish a home for the Blessed Mother, many days were spent searching all over Naju, but there was no suitable location. On August 10, 1987, Julia, in a vision, went with the parish priest and two nuns to see the mountain. As they reached about halfway up the mountain, they found a lookout hut on stilt that looked like a rest stop, and Julia exclaimed, "Oh, I can't believe such a good hut was here!" and sat down. At that time, Julia was out searching for a place, and when she looked for such a place, it truly was there. So, when she told the parish priest and Father Raymond Spies, they asked her to see it quickly.

On August 18, 1987, at 10 a.m., Julia asked Brother Choi John to go with Father Raymond Spies to see the land, but they were delayed because the Blessed Mother shedding tears. As Brother John grew impatient while waiting outside, he peeked into the room through the hole meant for observing visitors. At the place where nothing could be seen, he saw the Blessed Mother adorned with a radiant halo of light.

To be certain, he kept checking, yet the Blessed Mother remained standing, leading him to wonder if it was a hole that could be seen from outside. After the prayer ended, when he entered the room, it was completely different from what he had seen before. Going outside to verify again, he finally understood it was truly the Blessed Mother. Witnessing Her tears, he felt assured of Her calling and decided to return to the church. At that very moment, his severe diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease were completely healed.

After seeing the mountain, Father Raymond Spies praised its beauty and fresh air, recommending the land for purchase and suggesting where to establish the Stations of the Cross and the chapel. All the land in the area had to be purchased, but money was the problem. At that time, Sister Francesca from Seoul, whose heart disease, skin condition, and joint pain were healed, agreed to purchase the land. The family that runs a transportation business was a wealthy household, with more than 100 buses. If they bought that land, Julia was planning to purchase the surrounding land, but one day, unexpectedly she heard from them that they couldn't do it. The way forward became unclear. Father Raymond Spies and the parish priest also told her to give up. When she couldn't find the way to get the land soon, the parish priest got upset and told her never to speak of the Blessed Mother's house again.

While looking around many places to find the right land and make a contract, they realized it was a place where the Blessed Mother was enshrined and they demanded an absurdly higher price than the original offer. Although the places she liked were quite expensive, she still wanted to buy. However, when she went to the real estate agency, they said they wouldn't sell. She went around to various places, but they all acted the same, as though they had arranged it. The good lands were too expensive, so they couldn't dare to consider them. As she searched for a reasonably priced place, it became very exhausting.

Just like when people mocked Jesus, saying, "If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross," they also mocked and ridiculed Julia, saying, "If the Blessed Mother is there, She will surely provide the land. Why are you struggling and running around? You should just ask the Blessed Mother for it..." mocking and scoffing at her, foolishly criticizing her efforts. Julia offered it up with Semchigo, as if she heard “You're doing well.”

How many tears flowed in secret as she went every day to look for land without any help! However, Julia prayed saying “For Your will to be accomplished, I will joyfully accept any torment, humiliation, and unspeakable insults. I hope that through the suffering I receive, The Lord's and the Blessed Mother's will that is infinitely unfolding may be realized.

Although it is a small sacrifice, I joyfully offer up each step, so may everyone feel how blessed the little ones’ way of love is. Father, Mother! I can't do it on my own, please help me.” While praying fervently, the Blessed Mother showed her the land where She would be enshrined. After finding the land, Julia told the parish priest, and he said that it was the land the Blessed Mother had prepared, allowing her to buy it.

On September 6, 1987, Julia purchased 430 pyeong (approximately 1,420 square meters) of land in Gyo-dong, Naju. The owner had originally wanted 120,000 won per pyeong, but through the intercession of the Blessed Mother, she was able to purchase it for 58,500 won per pyeong. The land was so full of bamboo and bushes that it was difficult to find a path, and no one could walk through it. However, it was not a problem because it would only take a little effort.

“Oh, my Lord! Blessed Mother! You have loved me so much that You have used me as a sacrificial offering. You could have told me where the land was. But sacrifice was necessary. You allowed me to offer up entirely to You, through countless tears, not a single tear or step went astray. What greater grace could there be than this? O Lord, You who tell us that glory can only be attained through suffering, be praised.”

On September 12th, in order to build the house as soon as possible, she started digging and leveling the land, and something incredible happened. It turned out that the place was a garbage dump. No matter how much they dug, trash kept coming up. The whole family worked together. And the food wrapped in plastic and the rotten water poured out, and the smell was beyond words. Julia's mother asked, “Can we really put the Blessed Mother in this garbage dump?” “Mother, our Blessed Mother crushed the serpent, so perhaps She will crush and purify this world full of trash.” “The interpretation of the dream is better than the dream itself.”

At that moment, a refreshing fragrance passed by. Her mother exclaimed, “Wow, even in this garbage dump filled with the stench of decay, there’s a fragrance!” and everyone was amazed. Together in prayer, the family offering up their daily lives into prayers, they gathered the trash wrapped in plastic, with Semchigo as if they were breathing in the fragrance. “The Blessed Mother had said, ‘I will help you with my power that crushes the serpent,’ and reflecting on how She wished all Her children to be reborn by stepping on this great amount of trash, I could joyfully offer up everything through the prayers of life.

b. The construction of the Blessed Mother's Chapel.

After thoroughly removing trash and plastic from the land, a chapel of 40 pyeong (around 132 square meters) was constructed. Three sliding-door rooms were created for the office and for pilgrims to stay, and when there were many pilgrims, the sliding doors would be opened.

① Enshrine the Blessed Mother in the chapel.

On December 8, 1987, the Blessed Mother continued to weep, and all the brothers and sisters who were praying together witnessed it. Fr. René Laurentin, a Marian theologian, traveled a long distance to comfort the Blessed Mother. The Mass was co-celebrated by Fr. Laurentin, Fr. Raymond Spies, Father Genereal. Francisco Jeong, Fr. Matthew Baek, and Fr. Matthias Park. After the Mass, at 12:30 PM, the procession with the Blessed Mother statue, who was shedding tears, was held, and the line stretched from the apartment to the chapel. Although there was no mention of the consecration of the Blessed Mother's house, over 600 people participated, and it continued with an overnight prayer vigil. Fragrances of rose, lily, incense, and the scent of boiling herbal medicine, filled the air. Many pilgrims cried, deeply repented, and resolved to live a new life.

② A road was made in front of the Blessed Mother's Chapel.

Before the Blessed Mother's house was constructed, there was a narrow path, but once the chapel was built, the city suddenly paved a wide road with cement. The local residents thought that the Blessed Mother's House had done it during the process of building the chapel, and even went to express their gratitude to the Blessed Mother's House. Because they were afraid of ghosts or snakes coming out at night, they chose to walk the longer path behind instead of the shortcut. How surprising this is!

③ Intense rainstorm that struck the Naju area

On July 25, 1989, Typhoon Judy hit Jeolla Province with heavy rains, knocking out phone service, collapsing the bridge in front of the chapel, and sweeping away two houses. The supermarket, located on the lower end near the chapel, was swept away entirely. The following day, an evacuation order was given to all Naju citizens as the reservoir, located 200-300 meters above the chapel, was cracked and in danger of bursting. People told Julia to evacuate with only the statue of the Blessed Mother and to pack only the most essential items, and they even had cars waiting. However, Julia believed that everything would be safe by offering up her prayers of daily life and prayed all night with the Blessed Mother.

At that time, a loud noise came from the reservoir, and an enormous amount of water poured down like a waterfall. It was so powerful that it destroyed the stone wall on the opposite side of the chapel. After passing the chapel, it swept away the supermarket located on the lower end near the chapel side. In Naju city, where houses didn’t float away, the water filled up everywhere. The toilet wastewater mixed with everything in the house, contaminating all the food. The whole Yeongsanpo area was flooded, with trains, buses, and phones all out of service, yet the chapel remained unharmed.

④ A bridge was constructed over the stream in front of the Blessed Mother's house.

On March 28, 1991, the pilgrims said, “It would be good to have another bridge near the Blessed Mother's house to cross the stream.” Julia said, “Lord, is it possible for You to do this? I entrust it to You. I am grateful if You grant it, and even if You don't, I am thankful because I can offer it as a sacrifice. Everything is gratitude,” she prayed. Three days later, Julia's mother went out and came back saying, “The bridge you wanted is being built.” “Oh, Lord, thank You. How thoughtful and considerate You are.”

c. Expansion of the Chapel

At that time, there were many pilgrims would visit, and the chapel was too small, so it was decided to expand it. So, on July 27, 1990, around 10 a.m., the statue of the Blessed Mother was brought to the video room, and She shed tears. Brother Simon, a PhD in engineering who had lapsed in the faith, sensed the heartbeat of the Blessed Mother and said, "It feels like a living being, with the whole body pulsating with life." He then made a resolution to faithfully attend the church.

On August 1, a letter asking for the Blessed Mother's help with the chapel expansion was written, and along with the receipt, four people signed it and placed it at the foot of the Blessed Mother’s statue while praying. About 10 million won was lacking to complete the construction. At that time, General Song Ho-rim, who came from Seoul (a retired Army Lieutenant General and former Member of the 9th National Assembly and Governor of Jeollanam-do), asked if there was a shortage of funds and offered to send the 10 million won that was lacking. Julia replied, "I will accept it through the priest." With that money, the final construction was completed, and there was neither surplus nor shortage.

On August 11, the contractor who had received a down payment of 7 million won for the chapel expansion ran away after being charged, due to a cement shock, causing many difficulties. During such a challenging time, one brother intentionally drove the only vehicle of the Blessed Mother’s house into deep water, leaving it nearly totaled and requiring a substantial amount of money to repair.

On the 30th, Julia called Fr. Raymond Spies and said, “The contractor said ‘With over a thousand pilgrims coming, three restrooms won’t be enough,’ and that he will build more restrooms for free.” Then Fr. Raymond Spies angrily exclaimed, “Even abroad, people use the restroom outside, and at airports, they use outdoor facilities. Why should we build more restrooms?” and scolded her for a long time.

Julia cried and pleaded, “I was wrong. I won’t build more restrooms,” and managed to calm his anger. Her eyes became swollen and red like a rabbit’s, but she went to the old ladies waiting for her at the chapel, prayed for them, and hugged them. The old ladies, seeing the little soul’s tears, also shed tears but were happy.

On October 1st, the Blessed Mother was enshrinced to the newly expanded chapel.

4. Leaving, She will return.

In the early morning of December 17, 2013, the statue of the Blessed Mother, Who had been shedding Tears and Tears of Blood since 1985, exuding fragrant oil by squeezing Her whole body and giving Thick Mother’s Milk, was stolen.

To protect the statue of the Blessed Mother placed in the chapel, an acrylic cover was installed on the altar, and it was locked with a padlock. However, the padlock on the acrylic cover had been broken, and the small entrance in front of the chapel was also open. Immediately after the theft, the police conducted an investigation, bu ut there have been no clues, and the whereabouts remain unknown to this day. On December 20, 2013, the Blessed Mother’s House urgently submitted a report detailing the circumstances of the theft of the Blessed Mother’s statue to Pope Francis.

5. Reconstruction of the Chapel, A New Beginning

1. Blessed Mother’s House, Fire at the Chapel

1) Fire at the Chapel

On March 22, 2015, at around 3 a.m., the chapel was completely burned down in a fire while the preparation meeting for the 30th anniversary of Our Lady’s First Weeping Tears in Naju was taking place at the Blessed Mother’s Mountain. The cause was found to be an electrical short circuit. Regarding this, Julia had warned several times well before the fire, saying, “There could be a fire due to an electrical fault, so we need to check it.” However, due to the failure to inspect, a fire broke out.

2) The Miracle in the Midst of Fire at the Chapel

① The Blessed Sacrament, which was giving the blessing during the Eucharistic benediction, melted inside the monstrance, preserving its form. The two Blessed Sacraments, which were given to Julia on November 24, 1994, were kept in a small monstrance that was not burned, and the two Blessed Sacraments remained preserved inside the monstrance, retaining their original form.

② Behind the chapel and in the two adjacent houses, many wires were connected, and inside the chapel, there were oil drums filled with oil, and in the underground boiler room, there was also a large oil drum. The firefighters remarked, “Given the situation, the neighboring house and the adjacent building would have been completely burned, but this is truly a miracle.”

③ The greatest miracle was that Fr. Su survived even in the midst of the flames. When Julia received the news of the fire, she immediately prayed, “Jesus, Blessed Mother! You can do this, right? Even if the chapel burns down, please quickly rescue Father Su,” and continued praying. Then the Blessed Mother said, “Yes, do not worry. I will guide the way.” The Blessed Mother safely guided Fr. Su, who could not even find the door in the raging flames and thick smoke, so that he could open the door and escape.

④ The most important altar cloth under the statue of the Blessed Mother, where both tears and blood flowed together, emitting the strongest heavenly fragrance, was safely kept in Julia’s prayer bag, as she prayed for pilgrims during the meeting with them.

2. Reconstruction of the Chapel

1) Formation of the Construction Committee

The Construction Committee for rebuilding the chapel, which was completely destroyed by a fire on March 22, 2015, was established on June 17, 2017. The Construction Committee, for the sake of transparent progress in the construction project, reported the status of the construction funds and the progress of the construction work to the pilgrims on the first Saturday of every month, and provided detailed progress updates through branch leader meetings.

2) Basic Design

To carry out the basic design of the new chapel, a design firm with extensive experience in designing church buildings, such as cathedrals and monasteries, in Korea was selected to complete the design.

3) Groundbreaking Ceremony

On October 14, 2017, at 1:00 PM, during the 31st anniversary of Our Lady’s First Tears of Blood in Naju, many pilgrims from across the country and from abroad attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the chapel. Julia, who was suffering intensely, also took part. She walked around the chapel grounds with the priests, offering up prayers of life and sprinkling Miraculous Holy Water. It also changed into white-colored Mother’s Milk.

During the groundbreaking ceremony, Julia shoveled the dirt three times, with all her might, and prayed with the prayers of life, “Please drive away and completely eliminate the deeply rooted evil habits of all priests and people, and cast away the devil. May everyone build a house upon it, as solid as a rock, and attain Heaven.”

4) Feast of Sharing

The Feast of Sharing for the construction of the chapel was held on the first Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the Blessed Mother's Mountain. On this day, each volunteer groups prepared various foods and sold donated items to raise funds for the chapel's construction, while more than a thousand pilgrims came together to practice small acts of love.

5) Completion and Consecration ceremony

On June 30, 2018, bishops and around 20 clergy members, along with about 500 pilgrims from both domestic and abroad, who to commemorate the 33rd anniversary of the Blessed Mother's tears, held a consecration ceremony.
