1992May 27, 1992 - Now, Wipe Away My Blood and Sweat With Your Daily Life

Message on May 27, 1992

When I made Our Lady’s messages known in Philippines, many patients suffering from cancer and other incurable diseases were healed. In gratitude, those who had invited me asked my husband and me to join their pilgrimage to Israel. Not wishing to reject their goodwill, I accepted the invitation despite my intense suffering.

Upon our arrival in Jerusalem, we decided to do the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa, meditating on the Passion of Jesus Christ. First, we divided our fellow pilgrims into several groups of three, so that each group could take turns carrying a cross.

At that time, I could hardly walk without the help of others. However, beginning from the Third Station, I carried the cross by myself and offered up all my sufferings for the conversion of sinners and for the pur- pose of participating, even in a smally way, in the excruciating pain that Jesus had suffered carrying the heavy Cross two thousand years ago to atone for our sins. With an earnest heart, I prayed for the sanctification of the clergy, the religious, and our fellow pilgrims, for the healing of suffering families, and for the conversion of all sinners throughout the world.

While I was carrying the heavy cross, the heat was both suffocating and scorching, and the sun’s rays pierced through me. Before long, I was drenched in sweat. When I arrived at the Sixth Station, those beside me wiped my face with their handkerchiefs and tissues, as it was covered all over with tears and sweat.

Suddenly they burst into tears and later wailed. Mrs. Seraphina, who came from Washington, USA to accompany me, shouted at me out of surprise, “Julia, look! The tears and sweat wiped from your forehead are turning into blood.” When I looked at their handkerchiefs and tissues, there was blood. The blood marks were spreading rapidly, imbuing the handkerchiefs and tissues with blood.

After a while, the place where we were standing was filled with an intense fragrance of roses. Nearby storekeepers and passers-by as well as the fellow pilgrims marveled at this fragrance exclaiming, “O Lord, You are with us even now.

O Lord, You are truly living.” Everyone said that it was a truly amazing and precious sign through which they experienced the presence of the Lord. All fellow pilgrims cried out at the same time, “Because by Your Holy Cross, You have redeemed the world.” They continued to sob, shedding tears of repentance. When we reached the Twelfth Station, I heard the kind and dignified voice of Jesus.

JESUS: My beloved children! I am Love. Haven't I laid down all of Myself for you? If you have come to realize that I am shedding blood, sweat and tears of blood for you even at this moment, then wipe away My blood and sweat with your life from now on. That is truly a life of repentance. There was Judas, the archetype of insulters, too. But, like Mary Magdalene, all of you must repent and come to Me, holding the hands of My Mother Mary tightly in this dangerous world.

When Jesus finished speaking, I noticed that my side was swollen a lot. There also were bruises all over my body.
