One night, at the Blessed Mother of Naju’s House, Father Jang and several co-workers gathered and decided to compile a book of testimonies of grace. However, at 8 a.m. the following morning, they received a call from the Archdiocese of Gwangju instructing them not to publish the book of testimonies of grace. Everyone was astonished. “How could this have happened overnight?” Julia knew very well that the Blessed Mother wanted this book of testimonies, but she was obediently following the order of the Archdiocese of Gwangju. Then, on June 11, 1995, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, the Blessed Mother said to Julia:
She said this very clearly. And the Blessed Mother then...
Through these words, the Blessed Mother clearly revealed that the unprecedented miracles being given in Naju are because of the Little Soul.
The Roman Catholic Church places great importance on supernatural miracles that come from God. Therefore, when investigating apparitions of the Blessed Mother, it considers miracles and the fruits that follow from them—such as conversion, forgiveness, changes in one’s way of life, healing, and the practice of love—to be extremely important factors.
In accordance with the Blessed Mother’s wishes, Julia compiled testimonies of grace into a book so that more people could receive graces, and published it on June 30, 1997, the 12th anniversary of the Blessed Mother’s tears. Yet, without even a computer, she continued working by hand for more than 100 days, from March 19 to June 30, 1997, without lying down on the floor or sleeping even once.
Moreover, whenever she received a request from any church to deliver the Blessed Mother’s messages, she gladly went there. Whenever priests, religious, or pilgrims from distant foreign countries came, she met with all of them, prayed for them, and offered up her sufferings for their healing, beautifully offering everything up despite the attacks of Satan and the devils. This was because Satan knew very well how many souls would receive graces through this book of testimonies and return to God.
Julia was relentlessly attacked by the devils until the book was published. At one point, they even gouged at her eyes with sharp, poisoned fingernails, making it impossible for her to open her eyes. Yet, even in the midst of such excruciating pain that she could not open her eyes, Julia continued praying the Prayers of Life, offering up her suffering so that “souls who have been deceived by the devils and are wandering lost because they can see nothing may open their spiritual eyes and return to God,” while continuing to prepare the book of testimonies of grace.
In Naju, where countless fruits of grace continue to be borne, numerous unprecedented signs are still being given even today through Julia’s “love and sacrifice capable of lifting up the whole world.” However, instead of granting approval, the Archdiocese of Gwangju has completely refused even to investigate, ignoring the various warnings from God, and is instead stubbornly trying to justify malicious rumors through sophistry.
Is this not precisely a share in the lot of Judas and Cain? How could God not be angry?

The Blessed Mother, the “Heavenly Prophetess,” knew that unless extraordinary measures were taken, the world would face destruction. Therefore, she asked Jesus for a “Little Soul” who would help her and work for the salvation of the world. Among the countless people as numerous as the stars in the sky and the grains of sand on the seashore, Jesus carefully chose Julia, preparing her from her mother’s womb and personally nurturing her.
Jesus did not allow Julia to have wealth, power, honor, or comfort. Rather, He continually refined her through sufferings, poverty, envy and jealousy, slander, contempt, beatings, humiliation, and countless other hardships that no one could easily imagine. Julia overcame these countless sufferings by *considering herself loved* and continued to grow without ever straying from the life that the Lord and the Blessed Mother desired of her.
Whenever she saw beggars, she would give them the food she herself was supposed to eat, sometimes going without food for three or four days. She always showed love and charity in this way, yet she did not even tell her mother or husband about it. From her childhood, before she even knew God, Julia put into practice exactly what the Gospel says: “Do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.”
When Julia was pregnant with her third child, she was forced to undergo an abortion by an obstetrician who had become a slave to money. She underwent another operation seven days later, but died eight days later. However, she heard Jesus say, “Why have you come here? There are many things you still have to do. It is not yet your time, so go back quickly,” and she came back to life. Thirteen days later, the placenta came out, leaving her body completely devastated. Nevertheless, she worked day and night to support her brothers-in-law through their university studies and to care for her husband’s family. Even while doing so, she often could not eat properly in order to reduce household expenses, and her illness gradually worsened. Because she had no money, she could only visit local clinics, which caused her illness to progress into terminal cancer.
The doctor pronounced a death sentence, saying, “We have done everything we can. Go home and eat whatever delicious foods you want.” At the time, her blood pressure was 50 over 40, and cancerous masses had protruded even between her anus and toes, while all kinds of complications had developed. Yet she accepted everything as her destiny and was preparing for death. Then, in the summer of 1980, she was led by the Lord’s call to visit the Naju Catholic Church through her husband. When the parish priest said to her, “Ma’am, you are receiving grace through your body,” the Little Soul responded, “Amen!” At that moment, her body, which had been cold as ice, became burning hot with the Holy Spirit.
Three days later, while praying, she heard the Lord’s voice say, “The Bible is My living Word.” She opened the Bible, and in Luke 8:40–56, in the passage about the woman who touched Jesus’ garment and Jairus’s daughter who was brought back to life, she encountered these two words: “Woman, your faith has healed you. Go in peace,” and “Do not be afraid; just believe, and she will be saved.” She accepted these words as words personally given to her and responded, “Amen!” At that very moment, the cancerous masses that had spread and protruded outside her anus rapidly receded, and she was completely healed of all her illnesses. She then converted from Protestantism to Catholicism.
From that time onward, the Lord began appearing to Julia and personally nurturing her. He showed her many times how His Sacred Heart was torn and bleeding whenever people committed sins. When she saw the Lord suffering the pain of the Crown of Thorns, she asked, “Please let me also share in that suffering.” At that very moment, a Crown of Thorns was placed upon the Little Soul’s head, and the thorns pierced deeply into her flesh. An unbearable pain overwhelmed her, yet the only words that continually came from the Little Soul’s lips were, “Thank You!”
During Lent in 1982, Julia witnessed Jesus suffering whenever sinners committed sins. She offered herself completely to Jesus, saying, “Lord! Even though this most unworthy body may groan under ceaseless illnesses, how happy a suffering it would be if the sufferings I endure could be even the smallest help to the work You are carrying out!” Jesus was greatly pleased, and from that time onward, Julia began to participate directly in the Lord’s work of salvation by sharing in the suffering of Jesus’ Passion on the Cross and continually offering up her sufferings.
Then, beginning at the end of 1984, she frequently became bedridden because of excruciating pain. Concerned for her, her family had her hospitalized for two months at two private hospitals and a Christian hospital. When there was no improvement, she was finally admitted to Chonnam National University Hospital for treatment, but her condition continued to deteriorate. Even the university hospital professors gave up and told her, “You should be discharged now.”
After returning home, on March 25, 1985, the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, Julia called her family together and left them her last words. While preparing for her second death in the midst of excruciating suffering, she wanted to attend the Thursday Holy Hour for the last time and then meet her death. Following the biblical teaching, “When you fast, wash your face and put oil on your head,” she carefully put on makeup and headed to Gwangju. The Holy Hour prayer gathering at Naju Catholic Church had disappeared because Julia had become bedridden with suffering.
Thinking that this might be the last communal prayer she would ever offer, she gradually became immersed in fervent prayer. Suddenly, her consciousness became hazy, and she felt as though everything around her had come to a complete stop at once. She thought, “Ah, I guess the Lord is going to take me now.” At that moment, she heard the voice of Jesus.
As soon as Jesus finished speaking, Julia’s entire body was completely restored to normal, and she felt as light as a feather. Jesus was deeply moved by the love of the Little Soul, who was willing to give even her life for Him.
Three months later, the Blessed Mother revealed her presence by shedding tears from the statue of the Blessed Mother that Julia had been caring for. Until that time, Julia had been called “a woman crazy about the Sacred Heart of Jesus,” yet she did not know much about the Blessed Mother. Nevertheless, she had prayed the Rosary so fervently that she had never let it leave her hands.
Then, on June 30, 1985, when Julia encountered the Blessed Mother, the profound and united love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary was revealed to the world. From this time onward, unprecedented miracles began to occur in Naju in earnest.
