๐Ÿ’Testimonies on the Graces from Our Lady of Naju๐Ÿ’

Bernardo Kim began serving at the Blessed Motherโ€™s House in 1995 through the recommendation of Fr. Aloysius Jang, and for over 30 years he has continued his service while personally witnessing and experiencing many graces.

In 2012, while trimming a persimmon tree, he fell from a ladder after a branch broke. Although he received medical treatment and medication, the severe pain did not improve. But when Mama Julia touched the painful area, prayed for him, and kissed it, he was instantly healed.

In April 2018, while repairing the entrance road to the Blessed Motherโ€™s Mountain with an excavator, he accidentally disturbed a ground-bee nest and was attacked by a swarm, suffering stings all over his body. He went into shock and lost consciousness. Mama Julia came, saw his critical condition, bit her own hand until it bled, and let the blood flow into his mouth. At that moment, he began breathing again and survived. He felt as though Mama Julia was like the legendary pelican that feeds her young with her own flesh.

On January 27, 2002, while praying the Stations of the Cross with Mama Julia, he received the grace of deep repentance as his entire life passed before him like a flash. At that moment, he also witnessed the descent of the Precious Blood.

His wife, Lucia, was later diagnosed with advanced cancer after suffering blood in her urine for a month. CT scans initially showed a clearly visible tumor, but by the third scan, the cancer had completely disappeared. The bleeding stopped, and she was fully healed. Even the doctor called it a miracle.

Bernardo gives thanks for these graces and promises to continue striving to become a source of consolation for Mama Julia with his healed soul and body.

Gloria Kim began losing her eyesight as dark floaters appeared like swarms of flies, and within a week she could see only a crescent-shaped area. She was diagnosed with retinal detachment. During a medical crisis, it was difficult to find a hospital for surgery, but after turning it into prayer and asking Our Lady of Naju for help, she was able to quickly find a hospital and schedule surgery.

Because eye anesthesia was not possible, she responded with โ€œAmenโ€ and underwent the surgery while continually praying, โ€œLord and Blessed Mother, may You be consoled, and please open my spiritual eyes.โ€ Her fear and pain disappeared, and her heart became filled with joy and gratitude.

After surgery, she suffered severely from dry eyes and later began using only the miracle holy water after her heating device broke. A few days later, even without continuing the treatment, her eyesight became remarkably clear. At the hospital, she was told that her eyes were completely healed and that her vision had become even better than before. Through this experience, she realized the truth of Mama Juliaโ€™s words: โ€œIf you respond with Amen to everything, it will become yours.โ€

Agnes Jeong suffered from severe osteoporosis and menopausal symptoms so serious that she could not sleep without sleeping pills. She also struggled with knee pain and pain in her fingers and toes, leaving her unable to do even simple tasks on her own.

After participating in the online Masses of Naju and offering prayers through the Naju website, her bone density score unexpectedly improved from -2.8 to -2.2 within a month. Even her doctor was surprised, saying such a rapid improvement was very unusual. She eventually received healing from osteoporosis and also experienced deep spiritual healing, becoming filled with gratitude after realizing how greatly she was loved.

During a family trip to Jeju Island, her husband โ€” who could not swim โ€” called her while going into the sea with thoughts of death. She desperately prayed to Our Lady of Naju to save him. Later, her husband testified that when he had gone into deep water where his feet could no longer touch the ground, a powerful force pushed him safely back toward the shore.

She also experienced Our Ladyโ€™s protection while driving a company vehicle after sprinkling miracle holy water on it. Even when a tire burst and a serious accident nearly occurred, she was kept safe.

When Paul first came on pilgrimage to Naju in 2009 at his wifeโ€™s encouragement, he was filled with doubt. But through continued pilgrimages, he came to realize that the events of Naju were not fabricated, but true. He says that simply coming to know Naju itself was already a great grace.

Among many graces, he especially testifies to three. First, during his first First Saturday pilgrimage, after praying the Stations of the Cross, he prayed while touching the feet of Jesus at Calvary Hill and witnessed the Cross shaking greatly back and forth. Through this, he deeply felt that Jesus had welcomed him.

Second, after 49 years of heavy drinking, he was completely freed from his addiction to alcohol. He continually prayed in Naju for the grace to break this habit. Then during Christmas Eve Mass last year, while in meditation, he felt a mysterious warm breeze pass by his ear. From that moment on, he no longer desired alcohol and believes Our Lady granted him this grace.

Third, he was healed spiritually from pride and arrogance. Having graduated from KAIST and worked as a researcher and corporate executive, he had long struggled with strong pride and self-confidence. But through persistent prayers of offering daily life, he was finally able to break free from that pride. Even those around him noticed how much he had changed.

Cecilia shared that she once disciplined her children emotionally rather than with love. But after hearing Mama Julia teach that children should be guided with love, she began first making the Sign of the Cross and turning her life into prayers whenever correcting them. As she tried to discipline with love, her emotional habits gradually disappeared.

After offering prayer intentions through comments on the videos of Naju Mary YouTube Channel, she also witnessed noticeable positive changes in her childrenโ€™s personalities and behavior. One day, when Mama Julia encouraged everyone to receive healing from rhinitis, Cecilia responded with โ€œAmenโ€ while thinking of her second childโ€™s severe nasal congestion. Immediately, the childโ€™s blocked nose opened and was healed. Unexpectedly, the child even came up beside Mama Julia and said, โ€œGrandma Julia, thank you for healing my rhinitis,โ€ bringing joyful laughter to everyone present.

Through turning her life into prayers in daily activities, Cecilia found that even simple tasks like organizing and cooking became filled with greater love and order. She also shared that after preparing meals while turning her lives into prayers, her husband stopped preferring restaurant food and now enjoys only the meals she cooks at home. She gives thanks for all these graces received through Mama Julia and desires to continue growing spiritually under her guidance.

Many years ago, Maria Kim suffered severe spinal pain that made it impossible for her to sleep. After reading testimonies of healing in a Naju newsletter, she placed an image of Our Lady of Naju on her back. Instantly, the pain disappeared, and even her chronic neck disc problem was healed.

Later, she developed an aortic aneurysm near her heart and underwent a stent procedure. When complications arose and blood leakage required another dangerous heart surgery, she experienced Mama Julia mysteriously pressing her arm during one meeting and later touching her cheek in a profound spiritual experience. Through this, she became convinced that Mama Juliaโ€™s prayers would save her.

She eventually underwent two major heart surgeries and two brain surgeries after complications caused bleeding in her brain. Wearing the Scapular of Jesus of Mercy in Glory during surgery, she safely survived all the operations. Afterward, severe head pain subsided when she wore the Beanie with All Signs of Grace of Naju with a photo of Mama Julia receiving the Stigmata.

She also witnessed family healing after offering Masses in Naju for her son and daughter-in-law, who had been separated for three years. They reconciled and now live peacefully together.

In another grace-filled experience, when she sent a photo of Jesus in Gethsemane at the Blessed Mother's Mountain to both her son and a friend, only the image received by her son miraculously displayed a Bible verse: โ€œLet Your face shine upon Your servant, and save me in Your steadfast love. I call upon You, Lord; let me not be put to shame.โ€

The day before, Mama Julia suffered such severe headaches and extreme pains that she was taken to the emergency room. During the CT scan, her condition was so critical that a brain hemorrhage was even suspected. Yet she offered up all of her sufferings for us.

Thinking of the healing that others would receive, she said that these sufferings were โ€œhope-filled and joyful sufferings,โ€ and she even smiled.

Before coming to this gathering, while receiving the Sacrament of Confession, she received so much fragrant oil that both her sleeves and the hem of her skirt became completely soaked. She told us that this grace was given not only to herself, but to all of us as well.

No matter what negative situation may come upon us, let us not complain or judge, but instead think, โ€œThere must be a meaning in this.โ€ We must embrace suffering with love.

To help us understand this more deeply, Mama Julia shared examples from her own life โ€” including surviving a major car accident in which death seemed unavoidable, and the healing of a hospital director who had been in the final stage of a brain tumor after praying with Mama Juliaโ€™s photo of the stigmata placed on his head.

If we truly trust in and faithfully follow the Lord and the Blessed Mother, even when we face sudden and desperate crises beyond human help, They will surely save us and raise us up like strong grass that withstands fierce winds.

Many people live according to human thoughts and human standards. But we should not look at people; we must keep our eyes fixed only on Jesus and the Blessed Mother and faithfully follow Them. If we always keep in mind what the Lord desires and follow only the Messages of Love, we will surely enter Heaven.

Let us practice the Five Spiritualities so that we may reach Heaven. Turning our live into prayers is a prayer that continually fills the deep abyss between our lowliness and Godโ€™s greatness.

Let us cast out the evil companions within our hearts โ€” anger, hatred, and resentment โ€” and strive to live each day in joy, love, and peace.

Mama Julia lovingly blew kisses and breathed her loving breath together with Jesus and the Blessed Mother upon everyone. She also personally met each pilgrim one by one, offering prayers and blessings to all.

Thus, the May First Saturday Prayer Meeting came to a close. Let us deeply treasure in our hearts the abundant graces we have received through this prayer meeting. We will not allow anyone or anything to take these graces away from us.

We pray that through the practice of the Five Spiritualities, you may always live in love, joy, and peace! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
