๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ’Œ News of the Prayer Meeting on the First Saturday of November 2024 โœจ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŽ

Praise be to Jesus! Praise be to the Blessed Mother!
Dear family of Mary's Ark of Salvation, we are now in November, the Holy Month of the Souls in Purgatory.

Our Lord and the Blessed Mother, out of immense love for all Their children, completed the Five Spiritualities through a little soul Mama Julia to help us reach Heaven without passing through Purgatory. Let us stay ever vigilant, intercede for souls in Purgatory, and live out the Five Spiritualities with love in our daily lives.

Offering the third Mass for the Souls in Purgatory

Fr. Su's homily: On November 5, 2017, the little soul offered redemptive suffering for the deceased loved ones and relatives of the Naju pilgrims, praying that they be brought to Heaven. In response to her sacrifices and suffering for them, Jesus granted her plea, and 10,003 souls from Purgatory were lifted to Heaven. Jesus vividly showed the opening of many graves and souls rising to Heaven.

In addition, on September 30 of this year, Archbishop Bum Bun of Indonesia passed away. On October 3, during the Thursday Holy Hour, the little soul prayed, offering reparation on behalf of the Archbishop so that he could swiftly enter Heaven. During the funeral Mass, the Archbishop, dressed in a white robe embroidered with gold, appeared to the little soul. That day, the Lord granted a triple rainbow, a rare and significant sign in Naju Shrine.

Testimonies of Grace from Our Lady of Naju
Sister M. Magdalene

She had once accepted the Archdiocese of Gwangju’s negative statements about the Blessed Mother of Naju, believing she must obey Gwangu diocese, and even went as far as discarding pamphlets about Naju to prevent the faithful from visiting. Later, she had to undergo surgery for a meningioma and barely survived. At a fellow sister’s encouragement, she visited the Blessed Mother’s House in Naju. Since then, her previously paralyzed legs regained strength, enabling her to walk and receive the Eucharist. Discovering the Blessed Mother of Naju led her to repent of her past life as a religious Sister, and her entire family received blessings and underwent conversion. She left the Benedictine Order and now lives in the religious community of Naju.

Philip from Incheon

Despite his dedicated service in the Legion of Mary and his parish, his thoughts were not spiritually sound. Through the Blessed Mother of Naju, he was able to overcome his lustful and worldly thoughts. He came to believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and resolved never to sin again. The fragrance of the Miraculous Water, which had been kissed by Mama Julia, lingered with him for six months, strengthening his faith in the truth of the Blessed Mother of Naju.

Thanks to Mama Julia's words and messages, he devotedly offered up the prayers of life for those who wronged him at work, praying that they might be freed from sin. By practicing the mindset of considering any hardship as a blessing, he tried to lead an exemplary life. As a result, more people around him have come to view Catholicism positively, and even when work doesn’t go well, he still does his best with a smile.

Theresa from Busan

Her knees, which had caused her severe pain, were healed on June 30 after she touched the hem of Mama Julia’s garment in faith. When Mama Julia said, "There come out Silver glitters from my chest," Theresa responded with an “Amen” with faith for healing, and then her nearly 30-year-old chest pain was also healed. Additionally, her panic disorder, which prevented her from keeping her eyes open while passing through tunnels, was cured, allowing her to travel comfortably by bus and subway.

John from Daegu

After suffering from pain in his right arm that prevented him from lifting it for over ten years, he was healed in just one day during his first pilgrimage to Naju on October 19, 2024. He has now returned for his second pilgrimage.

Catherine from Suwon

After copying the Messages of Love by hand, she witnessed the grace of “family reconciliation and her mother-in-law’s peaceful passing.” Her mother-in-law, who had just turned 100, passed away peacefully as though in sleep. Additionally, her husband’s tuberculosis test results came back negative after she offered ten Masses at Naju and wept in repentance while praying the Stations of the Cross at the Blessed Mother's  Mountain in Naju.

Time with Mama Julia
We began by watching a video on Mama Julia's Inspiring Spiritual Messages. She emphasized that we should not be like those who build their house on sand but instead build it on rock, withstanding trials with wisdom and perseverance.

Mama Julia encouraged us to follow Jesus’ teachings, as presented in the video, to build our house on rock and become wise children of God. She explained how to practice the Five Spiritualities with her episode: when closing down her beauty parlor, she was assaulted by women from a bar who refused to pay an outstanding 360,000 won debt. She forgave them, offering up the incident with the Spirituality of “It’s My Fault.” This episode helped us understand how to live out the Five Spiritualities in our daily lives.

She also spoke about the suffering she began to offer up during Lent in 1982 and her experiences of Heaven, Purgatory, and Hell. In Purgatory, souls endure suffering to atone for their earthly wrongs, awaiting our prayers. Offering a Mass is the most effective prayer for them, and even prayers after meals can aid in their salvation. She witnessed souls in Purgatory rising to Heaven each time the prayer, “O my Jesus…” was offered.

She shared a story from the international Marian conference in Pittsburgh, USA, where she spoke alongside another speaker, Brother Joseph from the Soviet Union, who had miraculously revived. Before speaking at the conference, she endured severe hardships—fasting, freezing weather with only cold water for showers, and a thin blanket. Despite catching a terrible cold and coughing continuously, she offered it all up by turning it into prayers, enabling her to deliver her talk without hindrance. Through this experience, she highlighted the importance of faith.

There was the story of a blind elderly Korean woman who was seeking Mama Julia, asking, “Where is she?” With the help of a volunteer, she finally met Mama Julia and miraculously regained her sight. Additionally, four Koreans who had earnestly waited by the restroom to meet Mama Julia experienced a miracle: after receiving her prayers, one of them expelled a tumor and was healed. These stories are examples of people receiving answers to their prayers through faith.

Sunday Mass, 31st Week of Ordinary Time

Fr. Alexander’s homily: In the midst of our trials and sacrifices, let us unite with the little soul, Mama Julia, and strive to fulfill the will of Our Lord and the Blessed Mother. Let us continue to arm ourselves with the Five Spiritualities and practice them in our lives. Rather than spending time on worldly matters, let us devote ourselves fully to loving the Lord with all our heart, soul, and strength.

Meeting with Mama Julia
Due to her condition in preparation for the upcoming surgery, she was unable to embrace all the pilgrims. However, she told Jesus that she would offer up her life, and then proceeded with individual meeting time with each pilgrim. Mama Julia’s pure and sublime love touched all our hearts as she blessed us with kisses and breath with Jesus and the Blessed Mother. We reflected on the graces we have received and felt gratitude for the blessings yet to come, all the while thinking of Mama Julia, who risks her life for our sake.

Thus, the November First Saturday Prayer Meeting concluded. We pray that the abundant blessings of the Lord and the Blessed Mother be upon all the families of Mary's Ark of Salvation. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป Amen!!! ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—
