For 40 days, Moses stood before the burning presence of God on Mount Sinai, receiving the Law that would guide a people.

For 40 days, Our Lord Jesus fasted and prayed in the desert, facing the weight of temptation to prepare for the mission of salvation.

Forty is never incidental. It is a time marked by the unfathomable patience of God, a period when He calls His people to deeper trust, to surrender, and to love. It is in these 40-year spans that God waits—, waits for us to listen, to respond, and to return to Him with contrite hearts.

Now, as we approach the 40th anniversary of Our Lady’s weeping in Naju, Korea, we find ourselves standing at the threshold of another divine call—a call from the very heart of our sorrowful and loving Mother, who has never ceased to plead for her children.

From 1985 to 1992, the Blessed Mother wept tears of love and sorrow 700 days, a sorrow so deep that it could no longer be contained within her Immaculate Heart. Her tears—,both of tears like that of human and of blood—, are an urgent plea, a mother’s silent cry for a world that has forgotten the love of her Son.

In Naju, the Blessed Mother chose an extraordinary Little Soul (Julia Kim) to bear the weight of immense sufferings in union with Jesus. This soul, hidden and unknown to the world, has endured relentless trials—physical torments that mirror Christ’s own Passion, interior sorrows that pierce the heart like swords, and persecutions that strip away every trace of human pride.

Through every wound, every tear, and every humiliation, she has been transformed—like gold tested in fire—into a vessel of pure humility and total surrender. In her, we see the reflection of Our Lady’s own heart, a heart that remains steadfast amidst suffering, offering every pain for the salvation of souls.

The extraordinary events taking place in Naju :
Eucharistic miracles, fragrant oil flowing from Our Lady’s statue, and countless healings—are not meant to astonish us; They are meant to awaken us.
