🏡 I bowed deeply to my children and asked for their forgiveness. 💞 

Praise be to Jesus! Praise be to the Blessed Mother! My name is Angela Joo, from the Suwon diocese, South Korea. 

I realized that I had been seeking only worldly prosperity and honor for my family, without thinking about the salvation of my soul. My body and mind had become extremely weak, and I was filled with anger, turmoil, and resentment because I could not forgive my mother.

However, before making the pilgrimage to Naju, people around me often told me that I was kind, and I believed I truly was.  But through the pilgrimages to Naju, I came to realize how proud and arrogant I actually was. I bowed deeply before my mother and asked for her forgiveness.

After joining the First Saturday Prayer Meeting at the Naju Shrine, my mother came and said, “It was my fault. I scolded you harshly from the time you were little, yet you never talked back to me. Now, only in my seventies, I finally understand.” And she cried.

After that, my mother was incredibly loving toward me, and we became a warm, affectionate mother and daughter. We even traveled together, just the two of us.💝

I also repented for the way I had mistreated my eldest son, who suffers from atopic dermatitis—how I had resented him, scolded him, and even hit him. I repented as well for the complaints and feelings of resentment I had held toward my husband.

One morning, as my husband was getting ready to leave for work, I said, “Please give me just five minutes. Please sit here.”

 When I bowed deeply before him, he was so startled that he tried to stand up, but I said, “Please just stay seated.” After completing the deep bow, I knelt before him and, with tears in my eyes, said, “I was wrong. I will try my best from now on, so please watch over me.”

I asked for his forgiveness.

I also bowed deeply to my children and asked for their forgiveness. They were surprised at first, but then they bowed back to me.

And my eldest son’s atopic dermatitis was so severe—from his scalp to the tips of his toes—that we even went to an oriental medicine clinic in Seoul. But they said his body was like that of an 80-year-old man, and the treatments had little effect. His neck was wrinkled like an elephant’s leg, the skin looked stained and discolored, it cracked and bled.

I applied and gave him the Miraculous Water of Naju, then, when he was about to graduate from high school and we took his graduation photo—unbelievably, his skin had become normal. I was stunned.

After eight years of pilgrimage to Naju, my son received total healing from atopic dermatitis, and he is now working and doing well. I realized that if he had been healed earlier, I might not have continued the pilgrimages to Naju. This was God’s great love.

I also had no sensation on the left side of my face—even if I pinched it, I couldn’t feel anything. During Mass, when I put my hands together, my left hand would slip downward, so I had to hold it tightly with my right thumb. My left leg was also weak, and when I walked, my stride on the left side was different and would not open normally. I thought, “Something must be wrong with the right side of my brain.”

Even though it was the middle of winter, I took the shower of the Miraculous Water on the right side of my head and prayed earnestly for healing. And all those symptoms completely disappeared—I became normal again.

About a week ago, I suddenly began passing blood in my urine, and I felt an urgent need to urinate to the point where I could hardly hold it at all. If I didn’t run to the bathroom immediately, I felt I wouldn’t be able to endure it. During the individual encounter with Mama Julia, she touched my abdomen with her hand.

Amazingly, when I returned home, there was no trace of blood in my urine, and the urgency that made me rush to the bathroom disappeared completely. I became entirely normal again.

I am truly grateful for all these graces—graces that the Lord and the Blessed Mother have granted through Mama Julia’s suffering.

My father had surgery for lung cancer at Seoul National University Hospital and underwent check-ups every four months for five years. During those five years, his lungs remained clear. But as he entered the sixth year, the doctor said that a tumor had appeared in his lungs.

However, my aunt told him that people receive healing at the Naju Shrine, so my father went to Naju. As he continued his pilgrimages to the Naju Shrine, he returned to Seoul National University Hospital for tests, and the doctors said, “This is impossible!” His lung cancer had been completely healed.

He was also healed of seven other illnesses: a condition where bone was growing on the soles of his feet, very long-standing asthma, pain throughout his whole body, back pain, cervical disc issues, and gastritis.

I offer all glory to the Lord and the Blessed Mother. Thank you, Lord, Blessed Mother, and Mama Julia.
