the Greatest Miracle in Naju is my own Transformation.

Praise be to Jesus! Praise be to the Blessed Mother!  My name is Monica Jin. I think I have been making pilgrimages to Naju for about 25 years now. I have received countless graces.

I had long-standing, severe pain in my neck and shoulders. Even though I had received healing in Naju for an ovarian cyst and ovarian cancer in 2009, the pain in my neck and shoulders simply would not go away.

It hurt so much that when I went for treatment, the therapist touched my neck and said, “How can a woman’s neck be this stiff?” I tried injections, manual therapy, and acupuncture, but the pain was so intense that I couldn’t even turn my head to the side. Eventually, I gave up and thought, “This must be an illness I’ll carry for the rest of my life.”

Then I found the “Blessed Pillow with the Breath of Love from Jesus and the Blessed Mother through Mama Julia” in Naju Shrine. I thought, “If I sleep with that pillow, maybe things will get better.” 

Believing this, I used it consistently—and before I knew it, the neck and shoulder pain that nothing had ever cured was completely gone. Now my neck moves freely in every direction. I am so, so grateful. 

My husband has no faith and has been away from the Church for a long time. He always 

tells me, “You go ahead and be the one who’s devout.”

One day, I saw him limping. He said his toenail had grown inward and was very painful.

I put just one drop of the Miraculous Water of Naju on it, and right away, the pain disappeared. This actually happened twice.

But more than anything, the greatest miracle in Naju is my own transformation. Before going to Naju, I experienced deep spiritual dryness. No matter where I prayed, nothing filled me. I was always thirsty and empty inside. 

But after beginning my pilgrimages to Naju, all of that disappeared, filled with joy, love and peace! 

Now, whatever happens, I find myself thinking, “Just offer it up to God. Trust and pray.” I feel no anxiety any more through the Five Spiritualities!

A deep peace never leaves my heart. Because of that peace, I find myself humming hymns even as I walk around. So I realized that the greatest miracle is how I myself have changed, how my spiritual thirst is gone, and how I have received so much healing.

I often think, “Without Naju, how could I have changed like this? How could I have received so much grace and healing?”

I am deeply grateful and give glory to the Lord and the Blessed Mother. And I sincerely thank Mama Julia, who taught us the Five Spiritualities. Thank you.
