To commemorate the 39th Anniversary of Our Lady shedding Tears of Blood, Fr. Phillip made a pilgrimage to the Naju Shrine from 17โ21 October 2025. He shared two powerful graces he received:
โ 1. SPIRITUAL GRACE โ THROUGH MAMA JULIA & SEMCHIGO ๐๐
Grace Received Through Mama Julia and the Spirituality of Semchigo
Mama Julia truly embodies the actions and love of the Blessed Mother. Just like Mother Mary, she loves her children deeply. I was especially moved by her tender concern for all the pilgrimsโmost especially for her beloved priests. Her prayerfulness and unwavering trust in the Lord are a powerful witness of faith.

Through Mama Julia, I was inspired to place my full trust in God and in Mother Mary. I was also led to reflect on my relationship with my own mother. The personal grace I received during this pilgrimage is the strength to FORGIVE and to HONOR my mother with deep respectโbecause of the example set by Mother Mary and Mama Julia.
Among the Five Spiritualities, the spirituality of SEMCHIGO resonated most deeply with me. I AM COMMITTED to sharing this beautiful way of life with the seminarians I journey with. As a priest, I will also strive to live out Semchigo in my daily ministry and include its message in my homilies.
โ 2. PHYSICAL HEALING ๐๏ธโจ
I HAVE RECEIVED A GRACE OF HEALING!
Before I went to Naju, my right arm was painful. I do a lot of physical activitiesโplaying basketball, riding a bicycle, walking, swimming. I was feeling the pain for months.
After I went home from Naju, THE PAIN WAS GONE!
I do believe I was healed because I took a bath in Naju and because of the healing power of the Blessed Mother and Jesus Christ!
Right now I can easily move my right arm.
PRAISE THE LORD! THANK YOU MAMA MARY! THANK YOU JESUS!
And thank you Mama Julia for being the instrument of Our Lady of Naju.
