Hello, I am Paul Ji Young-gu, living in Seoul, South Korea.

My wife and I began our pilgrimage to Naju in 2001, and we continue to visit to this day. While we have received countless graces, I would like to share just a few of them. First, let me tell you about myself.

Before I learned about Naju, I was an active member of the Legion of Mary and various devotional groups in my parish, to the point of receiving recognition for my dedication as a diligent believer. Although I thought I was being earnest in my faith, there was no true relationship between the Lord and me. Perhaps that was all I knew of faith.

However, by consistently making pilgrimages to Naju with faith in achieving spiritual sanctification, I gradually began to understand the true meaning of the Five Spiritualities through Mama Julia's ongoing spiritual nurturing. During this time of physical suffering, I reflected deeply on what the Lord desires and looked back on my life.

I realized that everything I judged about others without love was due to my own fault, stemming from my lack of love. Now, I strive to live a life nurtured by Mama Julia engraving the Five Spiritualities in my heart and practicing the Lord's love.

In January 2022, I underwent a comprehensive medical check-up, during which my prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels were found to be higher than normal. I was referred to a larger hospital for further examination, and after undergoing MRI, CT scans, and a biopsy at Gangnam St. Mary’s Hospital, it was confirmed that I had prostate cancer due to the detection of some cancer cells.

Diagnosis: Prostate Cancer

During the first Saturday prayer meeting in March, Mama Julia prayed for me, and the following Thursday, the results of my blood test showed that my previously elevated levels had dropped! Since then, Mama Julia has continued to pray for me during every meeting, and on September 10, just last month, I had my third MRI scan. The doctor said that the results were excellent, as no cancer cells were visible on the MRI!

Thanks to Mama Julia's prayers, the cancer cells have completely disappeared! Faced with this incredible miracle, I cannot help but express my gratitude to the Lord and the Blessed Mother, Who have appeared in Naju, as well as to Mama Julia for her prayers and for offering her suffering for me.
