💗Praise be to Jesus! Praise be to the Blessed Mother!💗

My name is Daria Yoo from Seoul, South Korea. 

I began visiting the Naju Shrine in the early 1990s. However, when my husband developed Parkinson’s disease, I became the head of the household and had to take on many jobs to support my family. Because of this, I was no longer able to continue going to Naju Shrine. Still, Naju always remained deeply in my heart. Through my sister, I purchased an Holy Image of Jesus of Mercy in Glory and continued praying.

Then my son lost about 300 million won through stock investments. I began to resent him, saying, “I’ve worked so hard and suffered so much all my life—how could you do this to me too?” We argued intensely, and my son protested, saying, “I was trying to do well!”

From that very evening, I suddenly became unable to sleep. I don’t even know how the insomnia began. I couldn’t sleep for 15 days, couldn’t eat properly, and eventually developed panic disorder and depression.

So people around me begged the Jesus of Mercy in Glory to please save me. 

At that time, I felt deep in my heart that if I went to Naju, I would live, so I asked my younger sister to take me to Naju.

Because my legs were in pain and I had suddenly lost more than 10 kilograms, I was extremely weak. As I tried to climb the Stations of the Cross, the pilgrims beside me supported me, held me up, and helped pull me along.

Then, when Mama Julia was about to appear that evening, I felt as though I would truly live again.

The moment she entered, I called out, “Mama, it’s Daria!” Although Mama Julia did not know me, I just cried out to her to live! “Mama, this is Daria!!!”  

She looked straight at me, and at that very moment, my heart sank deeply—as if everything that had been tightly bound inside me was suddenly released. I thought, “Oh my… now I will live.” From that day on, I was alive again, as if I had become a completely different person.😭🙌🙌🙌

Because I had been ill, the hospital told me that I would need to take medications worth millions of won to recover. But the doctor, who was Protestant, asked me, “Ma’am, where have you been?”

I proudly answered, “I went to the Naju Shrine!”

Then he said, “Oh… just like Jesus resurrected, you have truly been resurrected.” I came home filled with joy. Even without taking medicine, my mood improved, food tasted good again, and I was finally able to sleep.

Because of my depression, even my tear glands dried up, and I could not cry at all.

The doctors said that surgery might stimulate the tear glands by touching the brain, but that it was too dangerous because it could cause paralysis—so surgery was not an option. Around that time, my sister-in-law’s husband’s older sister passed away. But since I could not shed a single tear, I could not even attend the funeral.

Even though I was sad, no tears came out—how could I go?

Then came the First Saturday of May. A close sister was crying bitterly before Jesus of Mount Calvary because of her sick son. Watching her weep before Jesus, I suddenly remembered the hurtful words I had once spoken to that child.

I was deeply remorseful and prayed silently in my heart: “Jesus, because I hurt that child, I will offer daily Mass and pray five decades of the Rosary every day for her son.”

At that very moment, something impossible happened—

tears began to flow from my eyes.😭😭😭

I cried out, “Oh! I have tears! I can cry again!”😭🙌🙌🙌✨✨✨

This year, I have received so many graces. In the past, people used to compare my twin sister and me and say I looked like I was 80 years old.

At church, they would say, “Rita(my twin sister), you bring your mother along,” even though I am her younger twin.

I had suffered so much in life, and my legs became severely bowed.

When I walked, my body swayed awkwardly, and people even asked me if I had polio.

Because my legs hurt so badly, I took supplements, arthritis medicine, and MSM every single day, yet the pain never stopped, and my digestion worsened.

Then one day at the prayer meeting, Mama Julia came out and said,

“Today, everyone who has pain in their legs will be healed.” (It means Mama Julia suffered from extreme leg pains.) I shouted, “Amen!”

Suddenly, I felt something strange in my left leg—like it was moving. I noticed, ‘Oh my, maybe I’m receiving grace!’

Then all of a sudden, my leg straightened completely and lifted firmly into place.

Everyone, how could this happen to a 72-year-old woman? My whole body felt transformed.

Before, I could barely shuffle along, but now my legs feel comfortable and strong.

I was overwhelmed with joy.

Someone from the prayer group said to me,

“Sister, you look so much prettier than before!”

My depression, loneliness, and exhaustion have improved within just a few months of coming to the Shrine of Our Lady of Naju. Simply listening to Mama Julia’s words fills me with happiness.

“Mama Julia, it is because of your suffering that I have come back to life. Amen.”

Three months ago, I enthroned the statue of Our Lady of Naju in my home, and the fragrance of roses never disappeared. Because of that, I gifted statues of Our Lady of Naju to four people.

My daughter is a successful career woman, but her marriage was difficult.

I enthroned Our Lady in her home, helped her daily with household work, prayed five decades of the Rosary for her, sprinkled the Miraculous Water of Naju, and lovingly said to Mama Mary, “Mother, thank You for protecting my children.”

Since then, my daughter, son-in-law, and even my grandchildren—who had all been lukewarm—are now attending Sunday Mass. What an incredible grace this is.

Then, for 72 years, I suffered from a chronic cough.

Throughout my life, I tried everything — bellflower root extract, pear juice, loofah extract, every kind of herbal remedy, and visited all the best hospitals — yet I kept coughing endlessly. Then I thought, “If I have received so many graces already, surely the Miraculous Water will heal my cough too.”

So I brought home two large containers of the Naju Miraculous Water and drank it often — while sitting, while sleeping, anytime I could.

And this entire winter, I did not cough even once!!! 🥰🥰🥰

I was so happy, so joyful, I couldn’t stop rejoicing. Truly, I am overflowing with gratitude. 😭🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

In the past, people used to ask me, “Why are your legs like that? Your twin sister is fine — why aren’t you?”

But now, I greet everyone joyfully wherever I go. At my parish, people say, “Daria, you’ve changed so much — you look so much better!”

Because of this, whenever someone tells me they are sick, I joyfully bring them the Miraculous Water. 

At first, some refused it — but after seeing people who were diagnosed with cancer remain alive, they now come asking for it themselves.

All glory be given to the Lord!!!
