On June 27, 2009, at around 3:20 p.m., while the Religious Sisters of the Prayers of Life Group and Helena Kim from Gwangju were praying the Stations of the Cross on the Blessed Mother’s Mountain, they discovered five drops of the Precious Blood on the paving block at the First Station, as if they had just been shed. They were so astonished that they informed the people on the Mountain, and everyone gathered and witnessed it together. Then a young brother noticed the Precious Blood formed on a nearby tree branch and offered praise, glory, and thanksgiving for the immeasurable love of the Lord.

The Precious Blood, bestowed twice at the Blessed Mother’s Mountain, was collected into holy water bottles. As we approach the anniversary of the tears shed by the Blessed Mother at her shrine that God Himself prepared to save His children around the world, the Lord and the Blessed Mother once again reveal to us Their sorrow and pain. This unprecedented miracle has been granted because so many of God's children continue to sin, as if driving nails into the Lord and the Blessed Mother, and pressing the crown of thorns deeper, causing Them to bleed. 
The Precious Blood remained in liquid form even after 6 and 4 hours had passed since it was collected.
Two days after collection, on June 29, 2009, the Precious Blood was still in liquid form. After the Mass commemorating the 24th anniversary of Our Lady’s tears on June 30, 2009, and after the Eucharistic Benediction, a blood type test was conducted on the Precious Blood that had come down on a tree branch along the Way of the Cross on June 27. Sister Susanna Park, a veteran clinical laboratory director with 12 years of experience, applied reagents to the Precious Blood and performed the test in the presence of all the pilgrims. The results confirmed that it was indeed human blood, and the blood type was AB.

Among the pilgrims, one pilgrim from Incheon came forward to the altar where the test was being conducted and personally confirmed the results. The entire testing process was displayed on a large screen, enabling everyone present to witness it as clearly as if it were before their own eyes. Upon seeing and hearing the results, the pilgrims responded with joyful acclamations and resounding applause.
We, who have been called little souls, resolve to act with courage. We long to help fulfill the loving desire of the Lord and Our Lady, who wish to lead every soul—without exception, even the most grievous sinners—into Heaven. For this purpose, we will proclaim the Lord and Our Lady with renewed zeal. Together with many more souls around us, we will strive to wipe away the Lord’s Blood and Sweat and the Blessed Mother’s tears of blood. We will deeply meditate on the Messages of Love given by the Lord and Our Lady, so that we may become their devoted and faithful children.
