Message on August 27, 1991 (1)
After attending early morning Mass, I entered the Chapel at about 6:40 a.m. The Blessed Mother's statue looked sorrowful with bloodshot eyes, as if she were about to cry. At around 7:40 a.m., when I offered candles with Father Aloysius Chang, a brother who had come to pray, and my husband, tears began to well up in the Blessed Mother’s eyes and soon flowed down. Father Aloysius Chang firmly held the Blessed Mother’s hands and cried out loud. At that moment, the surroundings of the statue became bright, and light radiated from the Blessed Mother’s crown like rays of sunshine. Then, a loving voice was heard.
THE BLESSED MOTHER: My chosen children! Now is the time of purification. Hold my hands of burning mercy tightly. It is not you who are holding my hands, but it is I who have called you and am holding your hands. Now renounce everything, follow me completely, and practice and spread my messages of love. Then, through you, who think you are unworthy and poor, great miracles of love beyond imagination will be performed.
Oh, my beloved children! Thank you so much for consecrating yourselves totally. But many children are dispersing. To assemble them again with the love of my Immaculate Heart, you must build the Basilica in a hurry. Make haste with a faithful heart.
I, who am the Helper in Redemption, earnestly wish that all the dispersed children repent, become purified, and consecrate themselves with sacrifice and penance. Then, I will make you the Lord's glorious garland of flowers.
