Message on January 8, 1989
While I was suffering pains, I was informed that the Blessed Mother was shedding tears of blood. When I went to see the Blessed Mother, there were the leader and other members of the Legion of Mary from the Jeonju Diocese praying before the Blessed Mother’s statue.
They said that when they arrived there was no trace of tears but that the Blessed Mother shed tears of blood from 7:40 to 8:30 a.m.
When I arrived, the tears of blood had already dried and clear tears only were flowing down. While I was praying the rosary with the pilgrims, I entered an ecstasy. I was startled at what I heard and saw. I heard loud screams from a crowd of many people and they were trying to kill each other in a big riot.
At that moment, the Blessed Mother, so beautiful and radiating light from Heaven, appeared. She was wearing a laurel crown with 12 stars and shining a brilliant light. Her dress was the same as before, but her face was filled with sorrows. Tears streamed down, as she began speaking to me.
THE BLESSED MOTHER: Daughter, look. Those numerous children, who are mired in the mire of sins, are provoking the just anger of God the Father. More prayers are needed. Greater sacrifices and atonement are necessary. There are too few consecrated children. Superficial prayers, perfunctory visits, service without heart, lukewarm Legion of Mary activities, and more…
All these must be revitalized. You must meet your neighbors as if you were meeting Jesus, with true love and a praying heart. Tell everyone. I give my love to every one of my children. But my Heart is hurting so much, because so many of them insult and reject my love instead of accepting it. My ears are too painful because of the evil words that are so hard to listen to.
At this moment, my ears also began to become indescribably painful because numerous people were slandering, causing discords, judging, insulting, blaming, criticizing, flattering, desecrating, and becoming jealousy and angry out of pride and screaming as if piercing the sky.
THE BLESSED MOTHER: I should be respected as the Queen of Heaven, but I am suffering constantly because of the children on earth. Daughter! Do not feel sad. Are all your sufferings not making you participate in the Passion of Jesus and, together with mine, be offered up for the conversion of sinners?
I do not remove this fierce battle that afflicts you. Prayers, sacrifices and penance are needed in this battle, and they make your fierce battle turn into graces and blessings for many souls. It is an intense battle planned by God to sanctify souls.
Do you know about the Deluge in the time of Noah and the Tower of Babel? Who can say that the sins now are less than the sins in those times? You must not ignore the wrath of God. But the Lord does not wish that you avoid sins for fear of punishments. That is why He calls for love. I pray and suffer pains unceasingly for the children who have fallen into evil habits and corruption so that fire may not fall upon the world from the sky.
But, if they do not accept my messages and continue compromising with the world instead of coming to terms with Heavenly matters, it will be too late to regret. I implore you, because punishment can be sent down through human beings. Hell is a place of terrifying and irreversible punishments, a pit of death and ruin, and a place of inextinguishable fire and maggots that will not die even in that fire. Let’s pray so that these souls may not be condemned but everyone may be saved. Good-bye!
The Blessed Mother was tilting her head a little to the left as she was saying "Good-bye!" She also lifted her right hand a little before disappearing. I have never seen a more beautiful appearance than the appearance of the Blessed Mother when she said “Good-bye!” I felt as if I were being soaked into her.
