💌 552. Upon Receiving the Holy Eucharist Daily, Which Has Come to Me as Sweet Rain for My Soul; Offering “O My Jesus” Prayer
The Holy Eucharist, the sweet rain for my soul! Since my baptism, receiving the Eucharistic Jesus daily has become the sweetest and most pleasing sweet rain for my soul. During the long journey of catechumen preparation, even though I could not receive the Eucharistic Jesus, I participated in the Holy Mass without missing even a single day, regardless of any circumstances, driven by a burning desire for the Lord.
O! Indeed, how fervently I longed to be able to receive the Lord, who lives in the Eucharist, within me!
What could I possibly compare with to the joy of becoming one with the living Jesus in the Holy Eucharist? Even if a pilgrim, after wandering in the scorching desert for three full days and nights, were to discover a clear and shimmering oasis, would they be happier or be more delighted than this?
Even a farmer, who has just received rain after a seven-year drought, could he be more joyful and happier than this? Jesus, Who lives in the Holy Eucharist! O, my love! The thought that my Lord, who is my everything, now dwells within me made me feel such immense happiness and joy that nothing in this world could possibly dare to compare.
On the day of my baptism, when I received the first Holy Communion, I experienced a strong smell of blood. I was deeply moved with emotion, as my Jesus who poured out all His Water and Blood from His Sacred Heart and gave everything of Himself entirely, came personally to this lowly servant and provided His holy Flesh and Blood as sustenance for my soul and body.
I offer infinite thanks to Jesus, the wondrous medicine and Savior of souls, for washing away my sins like this and dwelling within me as one. However, thinking that even at that very moment many souls were heading towards eternal perdition without knowing the Lord, I could not bear the sorrow. I cried out to the Lord in earnest.
“O Jesus, I am infinitely grateful. You feed true food for eternal life to this sinner who was bound to go to eternal death. Even at this very moment, there are souls dying and dying in their innocence, and many souls are heading toward hell without even realizing they are sinning.”
As You have saved this sinner, please come to them personally as well and care for them with Your merciful Touch. And for the souls in Purgatory who are being purified, please be the sweet rain that quenches the intense flames of Purgatory, so that they too may be forgiven of their sins and be saved through Your Precious Blood.” And then, praying for the sins that I and they have committed with tongues throughout our lives to be more thoroughly cleansed, I kept the Eucharist on my tongue for a longer time and offered “O my Jesus” prayer.
“O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen!” My beloved, my Lord comes to me personally every day, gives me strength and dwells within me. Therefore, no matter how busy my daily life has continued, I have been able to offer up all my work graciously always in utmost joy.
The Lord, who has become the sweet rain of my soul, spoke to me in a very quiet voice, as if whispering affectionately.
“My beloved baby! Every time I see you yearning and seeking for Me with such fervor, I am filled with boundless joy, so much so that I forget all the sins of the world." “Oh, my Lord! I am just an unworthy sinner. But I too am infinitely filled with joy.”
“Exactly, that is it. I live within the very heart where you feel a sense of unworthiness.”
“Lord, thank You for loving me so deeply, even though I am so unworthy. Please never leave my side and always be with me. Will You?” “Yes, I will—indeed, I will live and dwell in every moment within little souls like you."
From the day I was baptized until this very moment as I write, every time I received the Holy Communion, I offered the prayer, “O my Jesus” with a fervent intention that the grace of salvation might be granted even to the those most in need of Thy mercy.
I have always believed with a simple heart that the Lord would surely hear this sinner's earnest prayer. And on October 7, 2023, the Blessed Mother gave the Message of Love and said the following:
“Ever since you were baptized, you have so far offered the prayer, ‘O my Jesus...’ after receiving Jesus in the Eucharist, not missing it even once, for the souls in purgatory as well as for those who have been killed unjustly and for those who will be so in the future. Just as you have been doing all along, I implore you to encourage all My children around the world to do the same without fail after receiving the Eucharistic Jesus. By continuing to offer the prayer, ‘O my Jesus...’ not only can the souls in purgatory and those at risk of being lost be saved, but their own souls as well.”
The fact that I have recited the prayer, ‘O my Jesus...’ after receiving Holy Communion since my baptism day clearly shows that the Lord and the Blessed Mother have guided me to use this inadequate sinner as an instrument. May the Lord and the Blessed Mother, Who have prepared and led my life at every moment to bestow the grace of salvation upon every single soul without exception, be praised and glorified!
